Kulturschmiede Kallmünz

The traditional Langgasser smithy in the picturesque and historic artists' village of Kallmünz had stood empty for decades and was on the verge of decay. Today it has been transformed into the KULTURSCHMIEDE Kallmünz. A home for art, culture and culinary delights and a host for culture lovers, cooperation partners and creative people. A place of inspiration, entertainment and enjoyment.

The project breathes new life into the historic baroque building and has been transformed into a lively meeting place for the market community, visitors and creative professionals.

As part of the core refurbishment and revitalization, the building was equipped with modern technology and redesigned. Versatile event and creative spaces as well as conference rooms and studios, a restaurant serving French specialties and living spaces were created. The KULTURSCHMIEDE Kallmünz is not only a venue for cultural events and celebrations, but also offers space for the development and implementation of creative projects. The lovingly renovated rooms are suitable for a wide range of events.

The program of the KULTURSCHMIEDE offers cabaret events, musical soirées and concerts, chamber plays, humorous comedy or poetry slams, readings, literary evenings, small cinema screenings, plays, panel discussions, painting courses, vernissages, theater workshops and much more - accompanied by culinary offerings, French charm and a cozy exchange.

With this project, the Langgasser Schmiede was given a new lease of life and became a lively place of exchange and togetherness.
